Israel At War Day 659
Hamas Is Toast
Hunt Them Down
US President Donald Trump gave a very candid assessment of the Israel war on Hamas as we learn in a report from MxM News:
President Trump on Friday gave Israel the green light to eliminate Hamas, saying it’s time to “clean it up” after the terror group rejected another cease-fire. “I think they want to die,” he said, adding Hamas never intended to make a deal and has few hostages left.
Speaking before a trip overseas, Trump didn’t hold back on what he thought about the failed ceasefire talks in Doha:
President Donald Trump on Friday said Israel should bring its war against Hamas to a decisive end following the group’s refusal to accept a U.S.-brokered cease-fire proposal. Trump, speaking to reporters as he left the White House for a trip to Scotland, said bluntly, “I think they want to die,” referring to the Hamas leadership.
Well, we all know about these terrorist’s penchant for being a martyr so I tend to think he’s right. He also went on to note that Hamas really doesn’t want to release all the hostages:
“It’s very, very bad. It got to be to a point where you have to finish the job,” Trump said. “We're down to the final hostages. And [the terrorists] know what happens after you get the final hostages. And basically, because of that, they really didn't want to make a deal.”
I’ve been saying this for a long time and it’s refreshing to hear Trump put this out there. Trump also brought up the recent push by France to recognize the two-state experiment again, something that God not pleased with:
I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will judge them for what they did to My people Israel. They have sent My people out among the different nations, and have divided up My land. (Joel 3:2, NLV)
Here is what Trump said:
The president also took aim at French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday, criticizing his push to recognize a Palestinian state. “He’s a different kind of guy. He’s OK, he’s a team player pretty much. But here’s the good news: What he says doesn’t matter,” Trump said. “His statement doesn’t carry any weight.”
The US president is nothing but direct. Unfortunately other nations don’t know the Bible when it talks about Israel and how they are going to be cursed by allowing terrorists to live right on Israels doorsteps again (see Genesis 12:3):
Macron’s comments come as international pressure builds to support Palestinian statehood, though Trump has strongly resisted formal diplomatic recognition. Most of the international community—including China, Russia, India, and Mexico—already recognize a Palestinian state, despite the political and territorial divide between Gaza and the West Bank since 2007.
The article tells us what we already know and that is the Trump plan to make Gaza the “Riviera” of the Middle East, which would mean no two-states. And the Bible agrees that the area will go back to Israel (see Zephaniah 2:4-7) because of the way the Gazans treated Israel. Folks we’re seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled before our very eyes.
Finding Another Way
As Trump hinted, Israel is going to have to get the hostages back another way as we read in a report from The Jerusalem Post:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel and the US are considering alternative options for bringing the hostages home in a Friday statement, agreeing with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff that Hamas is the obstacle to a hostage deal.
The PM now sees the possibility of a joint special forces op to get the remaining living hostages back, at least that’s how I see these comments:
"Hamas is the obstacle to a hostage release deal. Together with our US allies, we are now considering alternative options to bring our hostages home, end Hamas’s terror rule, and secure lasting peace for Israel and our region," he said.
Trump doesn’t see Hamas wanting a deal as reported previously and the recalling of the US negotiating team confirms that. Now Netanyahu is gathering his team to decide what to do in light of all of this:
On Friday morning, Netanyahu convened a meeting with members of the small security cabinet, including the defense minister and senior defense officials, Israeli sources told The Jerusalem Post. The meeting was held to discuss negotiations for a deal and the war in Gaza, with the question: "What’s next?"
The article does note that there are some in Israel who are pleased that Hamas will now be dismantled:
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called to "stop all the humanitarian aid entering Gaza" and to "totally occupy the Strip.
"This is not an alternative path – it is the main path to the secure release of the hostages and achieving victory in the war," he said in a statement.
Another hardliner added this:
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also viewed the current developments as positive. "The humiliating negotiation with the terrorists is over. It is time for total victory," he posted on X.
When we consider the Bible verses I references earlier all signs point to the Gaza Strip going back to Israel to control and the Gazans who supported Hamas overwhelmingly to be relocated. As we pray for the peace of Jerusalem factor in those verses and definitely lift of up all those who now have the task of rescuing the hostages. They’ll need God’s favor and help to do it.
