Prophecy Update: Draining The Swap

Now What?

We all know that the big prophetic elephant in the room for the last four years was Donald Trump serving a second term. Now that we see those prophecies fulfilled we need to remember that the other prophecies about exposing the schemes by what we affectionately called the deep state are in play. It is true that we all felt that the exposures would lead to Trump coming back into office before 2024, but as my wife always tells me, hindsight is 2020. It appears more and more that these prophecies are going to happen after he was elected instead of before although some things did happen before. And that brings us to how we should be praying and interceding now that Trump is putting together his team. Also, we need to tell the church that this war has only just started. Iran isn’t going to stop sending assassins to take out Trump and others who preached unity and tolerance after the 2020 elections are not going to take this election lying down. Instead they are raising money to fight even more and I believe if they see a chance to infiltrate his presidency to try and take it down, they will take it. No, believers, we need God’s wisdom and guidance to expose the old plans and derail the new ones. But there will some Christians and churches that will tell their congregants that we need to lay down our swords and not gloat. It’s time to get along and leave politics and elections until 2028.

History Tells Us A Different Story

I hope I won’t need to show you when I come how harsh and rough I can be. I don’t want to carry out my present plans against some of you who seem to think my deeds and words are merely those of an ordinary man. 3 It is true that I am an ordinary, weak human being, but I don’t use human plans and methods to win my battles. 4 I use God’s mighty weapons, not those made by men, to knock down the devil’s strongholds. 5 These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts’ desire is obedience to Christ. 6 I will use these weapons against every rebel who remains after I have first used them on you yourselves and you surrender to Christ. (2 Cor 10:2-6, TLB)

Paul supposedly was a small man and who looked frail and some think his eye sight was feeble as well. But in this famous portion of the Bible he reminded the Corinthians that his real strength and power wasn’t in his earthly abilities, but the ones he got from God. He actually told them that his fight was primarily in the spiritual realm and against the devil’s strongholds. And if there was ever a time to wage a war there, it is now. The same intercession we put into this last election is the same one that needs to continue now. While it is true that Paul was referring to the heavenly warfare of binding and loosing he was well aware of the governmental battles he faced. After all he lived while the oppressive Rome was in charge and he warred against the religious and governing bodies tooth and nail. His entire ministry was one of being opposed by leaders in political power over and over again. He was shipwrecked as political prisoner. He was stoned and whipped as a political prisoner. And he spent the last years of his life in a dark, damp and unforgiving prison. It was also these conditions that Paul tells his how to fight against them. And he prevailed over them all using God’s mighty weapons. Folks, the battle we have now is waged in the spiritual realms and when we win there, the results will manifest themselves in those who are scheming even now to wrestle power from the help we just prayed for. Rather than resting and celebrating, we need to press on against the forces of evil.

The Best Disinfectant

I’m sure you’ve heard that the best disinfectant is light and there is truth to that. Science has shown that sunlight can fight many harmful things in our lives. However the Bible also tells us that we need to shine the light on sin as well:

Learn as you go along what pleases the Lord. 11 Take no part in the worthless pleasures of evil and darkness, but instead, rebuke and expose them. 12 It would be shameful even to mention here those pleasures of darkness that the ungodly do. 13 But when you expose them, the light shines in upon their sin and shows it up, and when they see how wrong they really are, some of them may even become children of light! 14 That is why God says in the Scriptures, “Awake, O sleeper, and rise up from the dead; and Christ shall give you light.” (Eph 5:10-14, TLB)

I like how and article from gotquestions.org instructs us based in part from these verses:

Paul urged his readers to “find out what pleases the Lord” (Ephesians 5:10), which serves as an initial step. To expose the works of darkness, we must discern the difference between what pleases the Lord and what doesn’t. God defines what’s right and wrong, not we, and not societal norms. Once we’ve established the parameters of right and wrong from God’s perspective, we take a public stand for righteousness and denounce evil deeds. In contemporary culture, defining right and wrong can be perceived as judgmental, particularly when God’s standards clash with worldly values. Nevertheless, God commands us not to ignore evil but rather to unveil its dangers and encourage others to steer clear of it.

It's important to note that there are already some who think we should just stop at voting and winning in the last election, but this is really only the next step in pushing back on the darkness that is still plotting and scheming to get back in power and push their demonic agendas.

So What Is The Process For Exposure?

The article goes on to give us a good example of how this exposing with the light works:

In a post-Christian culture, Christians live like Israelites in Babylon. Much of what is celebrated in our world is abhorrent by biblical standards. That is why we must be aligned with Scripture; to lose sight of Scripture is to risk operating out of a faulty view of morality influenced by the media and the world system. To expose the works of darkness, we must avoid falling in love with those works or the system that produces them. As the apostle John wrote, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever” (1 John 2:15–17).

So the next step is an inward exposure. That will allow us to take the next step:

Exposing the works of darkness also entails radiating the light of Christ through our words and actions. Merely labelling an act as wrong is insufficient; a diagnosis is incomplete without solution. The act of exposing darkness must always be coupled with a call to repentance—a change of mind about Christ, sin, and salvation—and faith in Christ’s offer of perfect forgiveness. Only the light can dispel the darkness.

When these people and their plans are exposed if all we do is want them to do some prison time, pay fines and lose their places of power we are only wanting what people in the world want. Don’t get me wrong, all of these things need to happen and should happen. Justice needs to be served so injustice fears doing it again. However, as Christians we need to take the next step for these perpetrators and that is to give them a chance to repent and be saved. That’s what we see in this last quote from the aforementioned article:

The principle of exposing the works of darkness can likewise be applied in our interactions with our Christian brothers and sisters. We should hold ourselves accountable (Luke 17:3; Galatians 6:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:14), which includes the compassionate confrontation of a fellow believer who may be straying. James goes a step further, encouraging us to strive for the restoration of those who have wandered from the truth, saying that “whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins” (James 5:19–20).

As we intercede for the deeds done in the dark to be exposed to the light so they will be dealt with, we need to also start praying for those who will no doubt lose their jobs and livelihoods to do what happened to the late Chuck Colson and that is to find Jesus.
