When Kingdoms Collide
Growing Division And Allegiances
As students of prophecy know well, the one world government is looming bigger and bigger. And if you are an aficionado of spy movies, there are always menacing villains lurking behind every turn of our heroes path. I happen to like the Mission Impossible movies with Tom Cruise and with all the gadgetry, clever disguises that are used in all of them I marvel at how the same things are being used now. Depending on the size of your tin foil hat, it isn’t a stretch to know that deception of the grandest levels is in play by those at the top of the World Economic Forum (WEF) even if we don’t see Kalus Schwab rip off his fake skin to reveal the reptilian skin he was born with. Ok, maybe that hit a nerve with someone, but I’m just trying to make a point. We’ve known there will be a one world government and we’ve known for the better part of oh, 3,000 years. And from skeptical unbelievers to conspiracy following believers, there is truth in those theories for the most part. The Antichrist is getting closer to being on the world stage and the mark of the beast is right behind it and that stage is being prepared as we talk now.
You Can Choose How You Will Live
So many paths lie in front of us as Christians. There are the escapists who just want the Rapture to happen so they can miss what they see all around them. Then there are those who are preparing to hunker down and survive the coming Tribulation and who belittle those who are hoping for the Rapture to happen. They say a little persecution is good for the Body of Christ. Then there are those who figure they should take advantage of the “good” in the bad plans made by the WEF and other leaders that want us to live in 15 minute cities, have chips inside us and eat bugs for food. Then there are those want to curl up in a warm blanket and put their fingers in ears and live in paralyzing fear until God somehow sorts things out. Now, please don’t tempt me to bring up pandemics, masks, and social distancing again. I’d rather take another tack on this now, one that will help us settle on a more balanced approach.
Which Kingdom Do You Trust?
Biblically speaking, we were told by Jesus many times to seek Him for our provision. Here are but two examples:
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matt 6:33, NIV)
Give us today our daily bread. (Matt 6:11, NIV)
In context, Jesus was telling all who would listen that all our needs will be met by Him on a daily basis. This is good news, but we don’t always take good news well. We tend to try and “help” God out and put a lot of time into establishing our own income and provision stream. Hard work isn’t wrong, mind you, however if it comes between you and following God’s call on your life, well then there’s a problem. But in light of the things promised by the WEF, another provider looms larger and larger. According to the them, you’ll own nothing and you’ll like it, meaning this Big Brother will provide you all you need as long as you follow their rules. It is the antithesis of letting God supply all your needs and it also the antithesis of being free in Christ. God is all about free will and the Antichrist, whose spirit is in the earth now, inspiring and running the WEF, is all about conformity. You will eat what we want you to eat, live where we want you to live and essentially do what we want you to do. In return they’ll give you security and health. Or so they say. Both God and the WEF wants to meet your needs. Who will you trust?
You Can Be Conformed Or Transformed
In Romans 12 the Apostle Paul lays out two options for us. We can be pushed into the mold of the world, made in its image whatever form it takes or we can be like a caterpillar that transforms into a beautiful butterfly, breaking free of its prior existence to fly rather than crawl. Here is what Paul tells us:
And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy—the kind he can accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you. (Rom 12:1-2, TLB)
Context is king I was told in Bible college and to get a fuller understanding of these two verses, we must remember that the letter to the Romans didn’t have chapter breaks or even verse breaks. The verses in Romans 11 ends with this verse:
For everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory. To him be glory evermore. (rom 11:36, TLB)
To get the transformation we need to recognize who does the transforming and how. Or, by default, we’ll be molded by the world and people around us, much like a square peg pushed into a round hole. If you let God protect, prepare, and provide for you, He’ll make your life into a beautiful thing. And you’ll lack no good thing as we read in this verse:
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those of us who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing. (Ps 34:10, TLB)
Provision For This Life And Beyond
The WEF brags about promising all you need in this life, even bragging about making us immortal through technology. They say free will is a myth, at least according to its so called “prophet” Yuval Noah Harari. Your will is a product of chemical interactions inside your brain and nothing more. Forget about God creating us with a soul, supernaturally designed to make you like Him. But Harari is wrong. The provision from the WEF is only temporary. God’s provision is eternal. Yes, they will feed you, clothe you and give you a place to live, but only at levels that they deem right. You have to seek their righteousness. Are you willing to give up eternity for any luxury they deem you deserve? If not, I guarantee you they will have no problem ending your life in a “humane” assisted by their health care system. God will not act like that to those who oppose Him. He says He doesn’t want anyone to perish. Joshua laid out the choices for us in this scripture:
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15, NKJV)
