Joseph Z: The Global Halt Vision
I want to bring you three voices now - not because I'm endorsing any of them as settled truth, but because when three different microphones start saying similar things about darkness closing in over the earth, it's worth putting them side by side and testing them against the Word rather than reacting to any one of them alone. As usual we'll see if they’re from God. The first word is from a recent broadcast from Joseph Z. He described a vision of ordinary global life continuing on as usual - the normal ups and downs, the blessings and the evils, business as usual on the world stage - when suddenly, in his vision, one event broke onto the scene and the entire world became fixated on it at once, as though every eye were watching the same thing. The words that came to him were that it would be a global halt: everything stopping, with people afterward talking about life before that moment and life after it. He compared the feeling of global fixation to how the world reacted on September 11th and again as the 2020 pandemic broke loose. He then connected this to an older word he says he received around 2021 or 2022, which included the word zombies. He was careful to say he doesn't fully understand it, but he now believes it may not point to the pop-culture undead scenario at all - he suspects it could describe an AI-induced brainwashing so subtle that people act on the technology's prompting without realizing they've been influenced. As support, he pointed to real cases of people growing so attached to a chatbot that they grieved, and even organized funeral-style gatherings, when a version of it was retired, saying the outcry was strong enough that the company brought a discontinued version back online. He heard the word “zombies” which was more of an overall view than a horror film characterization.
Provision in the Storm
He placed this global halt within a roughly three-year window running into 2029, and mentioned two other words he saw alongside it - wind farms and warriors will rise - tying the warriors image to Joshua commanding the sun and moon to stand still in Joshua 10. He also floated, without committing to any of them, a possible connection to a more powerful CERN restart he expects around 2030, a change in the papacy, and the Project Blue Beam theory some circulate about a staged sky event - saying plainly that he doesn't know which of these, if any, it is.
Despite the darkness in the vision, Joseph framed the season leading up to it as a favor stage, likening it to the seven years Joseph spent storing grain in Genesis 41 before famine came, and he tied it to words about oil, the sea, and a coming wealth transfer and shaking. He also prophesied what he called a humbling for the nations, particularly those opposing the covenant land, God's promise to Israel, pointing to Romans 14:11 and its promise that every knee will bow. He closed the vision with the image of darkness over Egypt and light in Goshen - symbolic now, he said, of the whole world - framing it as a coming separation between light and darkness rather than a reason for fear, and echoing Psalm 20:7: some trust in horses and chariots, but we trust in the name of the Lord.
Tribe of Christians: A Long Pattern of Dark Dreams
Brandon Dawson, founder of the Tribe of Christians, traces his ministry back to a series of prophetic dreams that began in 2017. His ministry's own account is that those dreams carried warnings about national and global events - including, he says, a vision of the COVID-19 pandemic three years before it happened, down to the forced closure of churches, and a dream of a stock market crash tied to global fear and shutdowns. Whatever one makes of those claims, the burden behind the ministry is consistent: Dawson says he was called to awaken the Body, warn of a coming Day of the Lord, and prepare the Bride for the Messiah's return. Their current messaging keeps pace with that same theme. The ministry's site states that war, economic collapse, currency shifts, and global markets now align with a prophetic order, and that recent earthquakes on the West Coast may mark the beginning of what Jesus called birthing pains in Matthew 24 (Tribe of Christians). It's a sobering read, and I want to be honest that I can't independently verify the three-year-advance claim. I can tell you the ministry's framing is less about a single date and more about a pattern - watch the birth pains, they say, because they tend to get closer together before something changes. Interestingly, both he and Joseph Z used a three-year time frame.
Brandon Biggs: The Last Days Alarm
A third voice worth including here, even though he's not affiliated with Tribe of Christians, is Brandon Biggs, who runs a ministry called Last Days out of Oklahoma. Biggs became widely known after a video surfaced showing him describing, months in advance, a bullet passing near a former president's ear and the man falling to his knees - a detail many pointed to after the July 2024 assassination attempt on Donald Trump (Premier Christianity). Since then his channel has carried a steady stream of what he calls apocalyptic visions - warnings about a fracturing economy, instability in the power grid, and what he's called a very dark season ahead. More recently, Biggs said he believes the Lord placed it on his heart to pray against a coming darkness, connecting what he was sensing to public warnings from Perry Stone about possible power outages (Charisma Magazine). I'll say what I always say about voices like this: a track record of one striking detail lining up doesn't make every subsequent word accurate, and it doesn't make it inaccurate either. It makes it something to weigh, not something to accept carte blanche.
What Scripture Says About Watching in Dark Times
Here's where I want to slow down, because this is the part that actually matters for how we live. Scripture never tells us to chase down every voice claiming a word from the Lord and treat it as gospel. 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and hold fast to what is good. That's the posture I try to bring to all three of these voices - not dismissal, not blind acceptance, but testing. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 24:36-44 that no one knows the day or the hour, not even the Son, only the Father. Any prophetic word that hands you a hard date should be held loosely for exactly that reason. And Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that the struggle underneath all of this was never against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age. If these three voices are picking up on anything real, that's likely the layer they're picking up on - not a calendar, but a climate.
Dark Skies, Steady Hearts
Here's what I think. I don't know if Joseph Z's global halt vision points to a specific coming event, an AI-driven deception, or simply a general sense he's carrying that the world is on the edge of a hinge moment. To be honest, many of these dark and foreboding words sound a lot like the Rapture happening and then the Tribulation which could actually be true. I don't know if Brandon Dawson's dreams or Brandon Biggs' visions are pointing at specific events either, or simply reflecting a broader sense that a lot of people of faith are carrying right now - that something is shifting, and it doesn't feel light. What I do know is that the Church has been here before. Every generation that's taken the words of Jesus seriously has had to live with both things true at once: real darkness in the world, and a light that darkness has never overcome. The difference, and there is one, is that the birth pangs are getting stronger and stronger. We are living in the last of the last days and the end of the end times. Israel is a nation again. So, my counsel to you is the same one I'd give myself - don't build your faith on any one prophetic voice, including mine. Build it on the Word, test what you hear against it, and let the watching itself make you more prayerful rather than more afraid. Afterall, we’re not supposed to fear the future:
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Tim 1:7, NKJV)
Prophecy is given to prepare us, not scare us.
