Trump Is Fooling Iran
They’re Not Serious
I’ve been saying for a long time that the terrorists in the Middle East don’t negotiate in good faith and they never will. And I will be extremely surprised if the current Iranian talks yield any lasting changes if any at all. We learn more on how these talks are going from a report in World Israel News:
US President Donald Trump is weighing a ground operation against Iran, including a plan to capture Tehran’s Kharg Island, as Washington assesses that increased military pressure could force Iranian concessions in the ongoing war, officials from mediating countries said.
Even though publicly Trump is saying the talks are going well the military actions speak of a much different outcome:
An official from one of the countries involved in mediation efforts told The Times of Israel that the United States has already sent thousands of troops to the region in preparation for such an operation, acting on Trump’s orders. The official said Washington privately believes Iran is unlikely to accept the terms outlined in a 15-point proposal aimed at ending the conflict.
Another source sees any American troops on the ground will not last long:
A second official from another mediating country said that while US forces may be capable of seizing Kharg Island, maintaining control would require significantly more troops and prolonged fighting.
And that makes sense since Trump doesn’t want the effort to last more than 60 days:
The official indicated that such an effort would extend well beyond the four-to-six week timeframe that US officials have publicly cited for the duration of the war.
That being said, the offensive is going better than expected:
Saturday marks the four-week point since the start of the conflict, with US officials continuing to state that operations remain ahead of schedule.
Houston, We Have A Problem
As I mentioned at the start, whoever is left of the Iranian government is unlikely to take the deal on the table:
Despite the military buildup, both officials said Iran is not expected to yield under pressure. They said the Islamic Republic is unlikely to capitulate even if a ground operation proceeds, and does not appear willing to accept terms it had previously rejected.
The original delay was to end tomorrow, March 27th, but we learn in an article from The Epoch Times that Trump will give Iran more time:
President Donald Trump has decided to delay potential strikes on Iranian energy sites, citing progress in talks with Tehran.
“As per Iranian Government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of Energy Plant destruction by 10 Days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time,” Trump wrote in a March 26 post on Truth Social.
“Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the Fake News Media, and others, they are going very well.”
Trump keeps extending the time for some reason:
On March 21, the U.S. president issued an initial demand for Iran to reopen access to commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours or face new strikes targeting its energy infrastructure. He delayed that deadline on March 23, citing productive discussions.
Trump’s March 26 post now marks the second time he has postponed new strikes on Iranian energy sites.
Fool Me Three Times
Iran rejected the 15 point deal by the US, but that’s not news since they rejected all the previous ones. In an article from Israel Hayom we learn that more on the Iranian rejection:
Iran has rejected the American proposal for ending the war and set its own conditions, making clear it will not accept Washington's terms as presented. An Iranian source told domestic media on Wednesday that Tehran insists on ending the fighting on its own terms and timeline. At the same time, a senior Iranian official told Reuters that the initial response to the proposal "is not positive" – effectively negative – but noted that Tehran is still reviewing the details.
The Iranian leaders were defiant and demanding in their rejection of the 15 point plan:
According to the same officials, Iran is demanding a clear determination and guaranteed payment for war damages, alongside concrete mechanisms to prevent the conflict from recurring. They also stated that the first condition for ending the fighting is a halt to strikes and assassinations, and that Iran's military operations will continue until its conditions are fulfilled.
Trump’s plan addresses the following points:
The American proposal, for its part, focuses on four central issues: the nuclear program, the ballistic missile arsenal, support for proxy organizations, and control of the Strait of Hormuz – core issues that underscore the depth of the divide between the parties.
In a video from the Behold Israel with Amir Tsarfati channel they detail what Iran wants:
First, immediate closure of all American bases in the Persian Gulf and Arabian Peninsula. Then, an official and binding guarantee to avoid further attacks. They also want an end to Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. Think about that. Hezbollah is a monster in Lebanon that attacks Israel and is plotting an attack 10 times bigger than October 7. And they want us to stop any attack on Hezbollah. They also want removal of all sanctions on the Iranian economy and its officials, and no restrictions on the missile program. They know that the only effective weapon for them is the missiles, and with those missiles they can take the entire world’s economy and energy hostage. And of course, as I said, they want to start charging money for any right of passage in the Strait of Hormuz, as if it’s theirs.
Why is Trump delaying the attacks? It is likely that the US is actually fooling Iran:
So this is very interesting. Trump said that there are already talks, there is already agreement, and he’s already talking to people. I believe that he is buying time. I believe that he gave five days because he wants this week for the markets to be okay. I also believe that he wants oil prices to go down, and he wants to wait for the 2,000 Marines to make it all the way to the region… Now, believe it or not, the Iranians already take his offers with a grain of salt. They have already said, “We’ve been deceived twice.” I have news for them: they are now being deceived once again.
As we pray for the peace of Jerusalem keep in mind that the fighting will only heat up as prophesied in the Bible.
