Israel At War – Day 4

Terrifying News Coming From Israel

No One Could Have Foreseen This

I spent the majority of my day pouring over news coming out of Israel as the Israel Defense Force (IDF) started to take back the areas that Hamas terrorists took over. Along with the videos of people being taken hostage and those of hostages apparently killed and paraded around the Gaza Strip, we were told that the IDF found 40 babies murdered with some of them beheaded. According to reports, many of the IDF were shocked and had to pause before resuming their clearing of the homes there. I watched a reporter almost in tears as she told viewers it was not just a war zone, but a horror scene with unspeakable carnage, carnage she describes with the smell of death (see https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/israel-at-war/1696938010-it-smells-of-death-here-surveying-the-scenes-of-atrocities-in-kfar-aza). The IDF vows to find and kill the terrorists responsible for these actions.

Half A Million Troops

To show us how serious they are, Israel has called up 500,000 troops so far, an indication that strong ground attack is in the offing. In past responses, targeted missile strikes were done to basically contain Hamas until the next time another attack would come. And with the Iron Dome firmly in place, they relied on it to also contain the terrorist attacks. However this time Hamas and now Hezbollah appear to be ready to aggressively come after Israel to the point of sending large terrorist armies across their borders. We simply don’t know what will happen next, but all sides are ready to fight to the finish. One way or another, this war will finally address the Arab/Israeli conflict if it continues to play out as we see now. Unfortunately, expect more casualties, especially if Hamas, Hezbollah, and any other parties who want to see Israel destroyed join the fighting. While no official plans have been announced from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or his military commanders, they fully intend to deal with the terrorist regimes and the people who support them once and for all.

Which War Is Next?

Those of us who study Bible prophecy are debating if this current war fits the mold of the next three wars predicted in Scripture. Those wars are the Psalm 83 war, The war of Gog and Magog, and Armageddon. Those who think this and perhaps the war in Ukraine will lead to WWIII, the best I can tell you is that another world war is not predicted that I can see other than fitting in the Olivet Discourses when it mentions wars and rumors of wars happening. For this discussion, we’ll only look at the three I just brought up, and mainly the Psalm 83 war and the war of Gog and Magog. At the behest of one of my Facebook friends, I listened to a woman who thinks the Psalm 83 war has been going on for some time and that this current war will eventually lead to the war detailed in Ezekiel 38
