Two Words, One Season

Something's been stacking up across the prophetic movement this week. Different voices, different vocabularies - but the same word keeps surfacing: shaking. It shows up in Julie Green's broadcasts, in Amanda Grace's teaching, in Kent Christmas's sermons, and in a prayer gathering Dutch Sheets just redirected toward Iran and the Middle East. Before we look at each voice, it's worth putting the ancient reference point on the table first. The prophet Haggai recorded God saying, “Yet once more...I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land...and I will shake all nations.” Haggai 2:6-7 The writer of Hebrews later applied that same promise to the church, warning that God is “not only the earth, but also heaven,” so that “those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Hebrews 12:26-27

That's the backdrop. Whatever you make of any single modern voice, the idea of God shaking nations isn't a new or borrowed concept - it's a genuinely biblical category.

Julie Green - Watching the House of Cards Fall

Green's recent broadcasts keep returning to one image - a corrupt structure collapsing from the inside. On her ministry's prophecy page, she says the Lord told her, “your enemies' house of cards is collapsing...their walls are crumbling to the ground...domino after domino is falling...the entire establishment is being gutted,” a word posted on her site at jgminternational.org. It's not framed as random chaos - it's framed as exposure: “their lies are being uncovered (and) their crimes exposed.” She's tied that same collapse to a concrete, checkable event: a prophecy that “you will see a complete red wave for the 2026 midterms,” with another Democrat “switching sides” and exposing the party further, according to the recent words collected at jgminternational.org/read-and-watch. Time will tell if this specific claim holds up, but her version of “shaking” is aimed at something we'll actually be able to check.

Amanda Grace - The Beast, the City, and the Sky

Grace has been unusually active on this exact theme in just the last week. She's been teaching through Revelation 13, describing what she calls an “unholy trinity” of Satan, the beast, and the false prophet, urging believers not to shy away from the chapter, as covered at Charisma Magazine. She's also raised the question of whether Neuralink could be tied to the mark of the beast. Back in the spring, she said New York City is “about to be shaken,” with departments tied to “terror and espionage” set to be uncovered - and paired the warning with a rebuke of the America First movement itself, saying the Lord told her He's “not in a covenant with America First,” but with the nation as it was originally dedicated to Him, according to Charisma's coverage of her Passover word. This week she's gone international, tying Spain's migration crisis at Ceuta to the total solar eclipse crossing Spain on August 12, framing the timing as a sign pointing toward governmental upheaval - detailed at Charisma's report on the Spain eclipse word. Her broader framing for the year set all of this up back in December, when she called 2026 “a national and spiritual wake-up call,” warning that “the window to build correctly is now, because what is coming next will test everything,” as reported by Charisma.

Kent Christmas and Hank Kunneman - Marking the Countdown

Christmas has been building this theme for months, entirely in his own words. A mid-July word carries the title “God Says Watch This: He Will Be Gone By End of August,”, continuing language he used back in January in a word titled “Trembling Prophecy for 2026,” which he said described a shaking that “will not be stopped.” Both are posted to his YouTube channel.

Kunneman's own catalog runs the same track independently. Earlier this year: “2026: God Will Remove Many. Nation Shaken.” More recently: “The Major Shock That's Coming - America Will Face a Dark Turning Point.” Both are posted to his official YouTube channel. Both voices describe a coming removal of specific people or a swift, dark turning point, without specific names. When these words are fulfilled I’m sure we can connect the dots, though.

Dutch Sheets, Robin Bullock, and Troy Black - The Pivot Toward Iran

The most concrete shift of the week belongs to Dutch Sheets. He had an August 14 gathering in Ohio planned as a night of healing prayer. He says that changed “at the clear direction of Holy Spirit” - the focus is now the war in Iran, “spiritual harvest in the Middle East,” and the wider world, a shift he says “will help change the course of history,” according to givehim15.com. He ties the redirection to two dreams - one referenced in a July 24 post, and independently confirmed, he says, by someone else who received a related dream. Robin Bullock landed on the same region around the same time with “A Prophetic Word for Israel, the Middle East, and the Church” on ElijahStreams. And on August 2, Troy Black posted a fresh word titled “I Saw a Sudden Change-Up for Netanyahu,” noted at his ministry site. None of the three use the word “shaking” outright, but three independent voices landing on Israel and Iran within the same narrow window is worth flagging on its own. But the shaking in the Middle East is obvious all by itself.

Veronika West - The Word Behind the Word

West is the one voice this week who quotes the shaking passage directly rather than just gesturing at the concept. On August 3, she wrote that she heard, “Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all Nations...the silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, saith the LORD of hosts,” posted at Flyover Conservatives. She tied it to what she called a “declaration of finality” over a system reaching its “appointed conclusion,” comparing it to Belshazzar's fall in Daniel 5, where “the Kingdom did not disappear into nothingness...authority changed hands...and an Old Order ended...and New Order emerged.” She'd already made an international version of this claim back in December, naming Brazil's replica Statue of Liberty as a sign and predicting that BRICS would fall “brick by brick” as nations are “sifted, separated and shifted on the threshing floor,” according to hiskingdomprophecy.com. Of everyone surveyed here, her language is closest to the actual wording of Haggai 2:6-7 and Hebrews 12:26-27.

Holding the Plumb Line

Six voices, two different stories - one domestic, one geopolitical - and both are borrowing the same biblical word. The pattern is unescapable. The word “shaking” is seen more and more across the prophetic movement right now, and it's worth testing each claim slowly, patiently, and against the Word itself. Whatever you make of the words, Jesus said the shaking itself is meant to be a signal to look up, not shrink back: “when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” - Luke 21:28

And these words are meant to prepare, not scare us. If we’re solidly grounded in Him, we should welcome the shaking of things that need to leave our lives. Even on a personal level, God is shaking as He always does. We need to pray it continues.
