And About False Prophets

I was researching current prophetic words and I noticed one trend, while one is not really as new, which is the topic of people giving words that aren’t from God being called out. One was more specific than the other. I start with one from the usual prophetic lightning rod, Julie Green. This one was released on January of this year:

My children, you are living in the time of the prophetic—a time when prophecies are given more than any other time and coming to pass more quickly. You are coming into a time when the prophetic words I have given to My real prophets will bring vindication to them and lead more people to Me, seeing that My Words are true.

So far, so good. God is pouring out His spirit on all flesh so seeing an explosion of prophetic words is easy to note. Then the word gets down to the people saying they heard from God and really didn’t:

Those who are false prophets—who have proclaimed to be My mouthpieces and proclaimed themselves as prophets—watch them be exposed for who they really are. They will lose their platforms, and great judgment will hit those who have led My Church astray. Those who have caused great division and confusion in My Body will be judged also for the confusion, strife, bitterness, and hatred they have caused. 

Then the word predicts these false prophets will be called out and divorced from the Body:

For those I did not call or anoint, watch for a great separation in My Church with the apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers. I will separate (out) the wolves in sheep's clothing. I will expose those who are there because they wanted to be or have been paid by your government to be there.

Great Deception

The word moves to what is happening to even those in church leadership and calls out a lying spirit moving through them:

 Some church or ministry leaders are there. I have called them, but they have been greatly deceived by the enemy and are doing the enemy's work and not Mine. Great falls are coming in the leadership of ministries and churches. This is the time of separating the wheat from the chaff, which I have spoken in My Word. Many deceivers have led so many of My children astray and away from My truth. They (My children) have trusted in their man-made doctrines. I am saying this again—a great shaking is hitting the Body of Christ, and it will tear apart the churches led by those impostors. 

Why these false words need to be dealt with is broached along with the bad things done by them:

More scandals of pastors and ministers who are working with the government will be exposed. For years, they were used to turn people away from real biblical truth. There are more people like this than the Body of Christ wants to believe. As more exposures take place politically, you will also see many in the Body of Christ fall as well. So many have helped with child trafficking, Covid, and with keeping the lie going to "stay out of politics." I will show how that deception was brought into the Body of Christ by the globalists to make sure that Christians stayed out of their way to take out the United States. (There are) so many lies and so much deception in churches today that need to be expelled to usher in this great revival that is coming upon this Earth. 

A Touchy Subject

Green then heard God address the Roman Catholics and their leaders:

There will be another shaking among the Catholic community. More lies will be exposed about some of their leaders. They have caused much deception to lead people away from Me. Many leaders have not only worked with this government but are working with the globalists as well. I have infiltrators in this community to expose more of the lies and corruption that are affecting the church globally. A cardinal will be exposed for what he has been doing behind closed doors. 

The truth about the new pope will also come out into the open, along with other secrets that are hidden in Rome. What they do with your money and where it has all gone will be shocking. My children, no matter what religious community you are in, stay close to My Word. Do not faint because of those who have led you to believe a lie. Start to trust and rely on Me more in this time than anyone else because I will not let you down. I am a God that does not lie. 

But the Catholics aren’t the only ones to be judged:

Something significant will happen to a well-known Baptist leader. Scandals will be exposed, and everyone with him will be brought down. A shocking scandal will be exposed in the Methodist community, and a leader will be arrested for the crimes they have also committed. A mega church pastor will also be exposed and arrested for the crimes they have committed. 

Along with the previous word of comfort to stay close to His word, a brief portion is spoken to people caught in the crossfire:

There are some ministry and church leaders who have been persecuted that I will avenge, and they will be vindicated, says the Lord. 

The remainder of the word mentioned Russia, Gavin Newsom, a tax scandal and a Ponzi scheme. You’re free to read it yourself. I looked to see if there was any fulfillment of this and one that stood out is what happened with Shawn Bolz. Another is a prophetic leader, Chris Reed who resigned from leading MorningStar Ministries. There were some others, but the point is that these falling prophetic voices happened in January after the word was released.

Calling Them Out

Next we turn to Troy Black who heard from God about prophetic voices preaching a false Gospel. The examples he gave are about a prophetic voice I and others listened to leading up to the 2020 presidential election. This was released last month on April 17th. And in it Black gives us the prophecy and then gives painful examples of it. First here is the prophecy:

So, this is the word I want to share this with you. This is the word I heard Wednesday…

Man, I'm hearing this from the Holy Spirit right now. They'll say things like this. Because it's close to the end or because great things are happening on the earth, because it's times of shaking, you need to be more holy and you need to press in and be more pure. And the way you do that is through your effort. And the Lord's saying, "I'm flipping the script right now, and I'm rearranging the church, the mindset of the church, because they've gotten it wrong."

Like Green, Black heard that God is seeing Christian leaders preaching a false message:

The Lord's saying, "Your holiness is not based on your effort. And many of my leaders in the body of Christ need to repent right now for preaching the wrong message. The wrong gospel is going from the lips of many of those leaders in the charismatic movement who have put heavy weights on your shoulders. They've placed heavy burdens upon my people and they have not pointed people to the gospel. They have not pointed my people to Jesus and what he's done for them at the cross. They've asked people to pursue purity but through the wrong means. This is what I hear the Lord saying. I'm telling my people right now to come home to the abiding presence and it's a gift based on his grace. That's what I'm saying to my people right now. That's what I hear the Lord saying.

And also like Green, God told Black what He’s going to do about it:

The Lord's saying those who have put a heavy weight on your shoulders and have not lifted a finger in order to help you. The Lord saying, "I'm asking you to dismiss them from your midst right now because it's not going to help you in this season, that heavy weight, because when you're walking through what feels like a fire or it feels like a river or a wilderness season, when you're walking through the trial, you need as few weights as possible. And I'm lifting the weights off of people's shoulders right now. The Lord is saying the true gospel message is very good and it's what I've asked my people to preach and they haven't run with it. They've run with another gospel. Man, I hear the Lord saying, I'm calling out many leaders across the body. The emphasis right now is on the charismatic church. I just feel the fire of the Holy Spirit on this, y'all. The presence of God for me. You pray about this. For me, this word is 100% confirmed. That's just me personally.

Now, The Specifics

Black then addresses some accusations made against one prophetic voice, Jeremiah Johnson:

… number one that Jeremiah Johnson plagiarized a word from Anna Golden who is the writer of the song Manassa. Um and it's uh you know it's worth noting uh that Jeremiah has publicly denied this accusation. I think it's worth saying that. But the pattern um of plagiarism seems to tell a different story in his life. If you look at the many different accusations that have been brought up against him. So plagiarizing a prophetic word means that somebody else heard that word from God and then you took it as your own and shared it as if you had that revelation from God. And that is what uh the evidence shows in this case.

Black mentions Johnson actually taking credit for a word that his brother received and is being sued over by this brother:

Um another thing that they talk about in this video is how he plagiarized a word from his own brother. And his brother Josiah is has actually actually took him to court over that issue has sued him in illegal court over stealing a prophetic word and using it as his own. Um there's also a data trail with evidence that shows that his brother confronted him about that when he stole the word from him and shared it as if it was his own. But instead of denying it, um Jeremiah pressured his brother and said, "Remember that I'm the one that got you your job." And so that it feels like an admission of guilt but also like a sort of a threatening of you need to be quiet about this. Um they also talk about how he was confronted by ministry leaders over his ministry and other church leaders in the area [snorts] where he's from for prophecy and how he ignored that and moved moved on despite that.

These are serious accusations and things get even worse.

More Stealing

Black cites another interview addressing Johnson taking credit for prophetic words from another as well as using the logo name and branding for her ministry without paying her for it:

This video is um Wanda Alger, and she's um interviewing uh Nancy Knop. And Nancy tells the story of how um she was working under Jeremiah or at least associated with him and attending his church. and how he plagiarized prophetic words from her on multiple occasions. Um, not just one time but but several different times and the process of her realizing what was happening and trying to understand why he was doing that. Um, and then his response, you know, to her when she attempted to confront him. Um, this is also the story of how she created a ministry um for women and how Jeremiah essentially stole the name and I believe the logo even and the branding for the ministry and used it without her permission to sell tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and um then went on to essentially not give her credit for that in the right Okay. And also not uh I believe financially um not uh you know compensate her or her ministry for that. And so very you know very serious allegations.

Manipulation And More

These next charges are pretty bad all by themselves and Black cites sources for all of them:

Um here's another one. This is Ron Cantor on YouTube. He's uh interviewing Madison Deiri and her family and she tells the story of how um she was spiritually manipulated and controlled uh by Jeremiah Johnson under his ministry when she worked for his ministry. She talks through very real trauma that she went through and even to the point of um her cortisol levels uh skyrocketing and her actually nearly dying from um many different uh stress induced seizures that she started to to to be under. Um she was also having a lot of demonic encounters at this time and things like that. And she says that when she would go for them to to pray for her, now this is obviously like uh something that's not evidence, but it's her testimony. it's her story. Um she said that the encounters would actually get worse.

This woman was hearing from God to leave and Johnson and his wife told her she was misled by the Devil:

Um and then there were times where she was getting prophetic words or dreams from God and she shares a few of those stories where uh it would give her the freedom to leave the ministry, right? Where all of this environment of stress that was killing her essentially. Um these dreams would give her release, you know, a release in her spirit where she could leave and go out from under it. And then when she shared that with them, Jeremiah and his wife told her that um she was hearing from demons and you know all the stress, you know, she's had to stay in that stressful environment because of that. Um which I believe, you know, if her story is true, it's evidence of spiritual manipulation and control.

The last example is just horrendous in my opinion:

Um here's another one. Uh this is Hannah Williamson's story and um she's an influencer and uh this is was shared by Joshua Simone from Torn Curtain and she was working for Jeremiah Johnson's ministry and because of a prophetic word from somebody else that came in and shared um something with them, her and some of the other staff were sent out onto the grounds of the ministry to dig for dead babies's bones. and she shared how it was traumatic, right? A traumatic event for her and how that was not um even if I don't want to speak too heavily into that it feels like prophetic witchcraft to me. I'm just going to say that. Um but whether it was or not, it was not the right way to handle it. And um she also shares some of the other things, you know, that she encountered while she was working for that ministry as well.

Two Words Fulfilled

I shared these because they both dealt with false prophetic words and how God is dealing with those giving them. Black brought the details on Johnson and I have to tell you; I’m saddened by them. I pray we are careful to listen to words without judging them with the Word and then asking for Holy Spirit for wisdom to lead us into the truth about them. In the examples I cited about Bolz and Reed, their personal lives revealed moral failings and deceit. Along with what Black exposed I can see this judgement from God playing out as this year plays out. Are Green and Black perfect? No and each will admit to that. Even the late Kim Clement admitted he was fallible. Pray for them and others now more than ever. And Holy Spirit leads us into all truth.
