He’s Coming Home

Today ends the hostage ordeal as the last body, one killed on October 7th of 2023 was found and is being returned as we see in a report from i24news.tv:

The announcement marks a significant milestone: with the return of Gvili’s remains, all abductees taken to Gaza during the October 7 attack have now been returned to Israel. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed on Tuesday that the remains of Ran Gvili, abducted during the October 7, 2023 attacks, have been identified and returned to Israel for burial, closing the final unresolved case from that day.

As they usually do, Israel performed the forensics on the remains to certify that the body is Gvili:

The identification process was carried out by the National Center for Forensic Medicine in coordination with the Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate, and IDF representatives notified Gvili’s family once the process was complete. Specialized units, including search teams, dental experts, and rabbinical officials, assisted in identifying the body. The military credited the success to persistent intelligence work, decisive operations against Hamas, and an unwavering commitment to bring all hostages home.

He died fighting the terrorists and protecting Israelis:

The military said Gvili, 24, a combat soldier, was killed in combat on the morning of October 7 and subsequently abducted into Gaza.

One of the forums created to push to get the hostages both living and deceased home said this:

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum described him as “the last hostage,” noting that he rushed into battle despite recovering from a serious injury and fought at the entrance to Kibbutz Alumim until his ammunition ran out.

“First to enter. Last to return,” the forum said, honoring his courage and extending condolences to his parents, siblings, and extended family.

The IDF confirms that all hostages are back after being either killed or abducted. And how they found Gvili’s remains also confirms what I’ve been saying all along and that is Hamas knew exactly where that body was the whole time:

New details released by the Shin Bet revealed that the recovery of Gvili’s remains was the result of months of intelligence work. About a month ago, during an operation in southern Gaza City, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operative was captured and interrogated. The operative, who had been involved in military activity against Israeli forces, disclosed his role in moving Gvili’s body between several locations and identified others who knew its whereabouts. This information helped narrow down the burial site to the Albatash cemetery in northern Gaza, where a large-scale operation was subsequently launched. According to the Shin Bet, the intelligence gathered during the interrogation was crucial in enabling the IDF to locate and identify Gvili’s remains.

So, it’s official. This 843 day painful chapter in Israel’s modern history is finally over. Now it’s time to end the war and rid the nation of the constant terror threats around them.

And About Iran

I don’t have a news source for what I’m going to tell you now, but I am constantly scouring social media to see what’s happening in the world and in particular in the Middle East since Israel is the super sign of Bible prophecy. And I’m intrigued by the US sending naval assets to the Indian Ocean which could be for a variety of reasons. US President Donald Trump made it clear that he wants to support the protesters in Iran and that he won’t allow Iran to rearm after devastating strikes last June. There is talk that the only way to support the people of Iran is to end the current regime or those protests are for naught. But how will these things happen? I have a theory so stay with me on this. Israel also has a vested interest in taking the Iranian leadership down and ending the military threat by this current regime. I can see the US and Israel working together to accomplish all of this in a way that will remove the Ayatollahs without the US having the blood on its hands and helping Israel in eliminating the military threat. We need to know that the Iranian military can’t stay in power either or they will take over the leadership gap from the assassinations. So, I see the US addressing the military sites with a massive air assault just like before. Then I see the Israelis targeting the political and military leaders which they have shown they are extremely good at doing. When the dust settles then the man in the wings, the currently exiled Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi can return and lead the country until a new leader can be elected by the people. Since Pahlavi is already supported by the people it wouldn’t be either the US or Israel installing him but simply creating the environment for him to come back. If this all sounds too neat and clean, it isn’t. There are risks involved, but this is only my opinion. I can tell you that it could also fulfill a prophecy about Iran in Jeremiah 49 concerning Edom which is now a part of Iran. As always, pray for the peace of Jerusalem and factor in how an attack on Iran will affect them.
