Israel At War – Day 691

The Real Culprits

Next Three Weeks

According to a report from The Media Line US President Trump will end soon:

The war between Israel and Gaza will reach a “conclusive ending” within the next two to three weeks, US President Donald Trump said on Monday, speaking from the Oval Office. “I think within the next two to three weeks, you’re going to have … a conclusive ending.”

Will it end with military efforts, diplomatic agreements or a combination of them? Ultimately Hamas is the key:

Israel has rejected Hamas’ proposal for a phased ceasefire and is continuing its push to capture Gaza City. Despite this, President Trump suggested that diplomatic efforts are underway. “There has been … a very serious diplomatic push,” he said, when asked whether Washington was actively working to advance an end to the conflict.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio added, “It [has] never stopped. We’ve always looked to find a solution. We want it to end. [But] it has to end with no Hamas.”

Diplomatic efforts continue but Trump is also saying Hamas has to be destroyed:

Special envoy Steve Witkoff credited the US president’s recent statement on the social media platform Truth Social with pressuring Hamas. “We wouldn’t be anywhere but for the president’s truth last week, which was a statement to Hamas that they better get their act together and get to the peace table,” Witkoff said. The president had posted on his Truth Social App that remaining hostages would only be released once Hamas is destroyed.

The US President is big on setting deadlines, but his record on them working isn’t good:

President Trump has repeatedly cited “two-week” timelines for international conflicts, including the war in Ukraine and negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. These predictions have often lacked concrete evidence and have not materialized as stated.

Overall, the Trump administration is on Israel’s side:

For now, the US appears aligned with Israel’s position that the war will only conclude with Hamas’ full surrender.

What do I think? I keep my eyes on both current events and Bible prophecy and Gaza is going to be back in the hands of Israel per Zephaniah 2:4-7. In Zephaniah 2:4 Gaza is mentioned specifically, and yes it is the exact area we know today. A video by Joel Rosenberg tells us exactly that.:

Now, verse 4 is the key: "Gaza will be abandoned." America isn’t even mentioned in the Bible, but Gaza is. In this end-times prophecy, it says Gaza will be abandoned. Verse 5: "Woe to you who live by the sea, the word of the Lord is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines. I will destroy you, and none will be left." Verse 7: "That land will belong to the remnant of the people of Judah."

What land? The land of Gaza. It will belong to the remnant of the people of Judah. And at the end of the passage, it says: "The Lord their God will care for them and restore their fortunes."

Does that mean the Palestinians of Gaza? No, it means the people of Judah. The land of Gaza will be returned to the Jewish people—the people who practice Judaism, the nation of Israel.

Told You So

Yesterday amidst the outrage over the targeting of a hospital in Gaza I said there was something fishy going on. Now we’re getting more on how terrorists were targeted with actual names as we read in a report from i24news.tv:

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have released the initial findings of an inquiry into Monday’s strike on a camera at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, which the military says was used by Hamas to monitor Israeli troop movements.

As I mentioned yesterday the IDF targeted a camera used by Hamas to help them target them:

According to the IDF, Golani Brigade forces operating in the area to dismantle terrorist infrastructure identified the camera as part of Hamas’ intelligence network. The military said the camera was being used to direct terrorist activities against IDF troops. Intelligence reportedly confirmed Hamas’ use of the Nasser Hospital for militant operations since the start of the conflict. The strike aimed to neutralize the threat posed by the camera, and the IDF said the troops acted with that objective in mind. The initial inquiry was presented on Tuesday to the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, by Southern Command Commander Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, who emphasized that the inquiry is ongoing.

And as I suspected, terrorists were among those killed. Israel continues to apologize for hurting any true civilians:

The IDF noted that six of those killed in the strike were identified as terrorists, including one who had participated in the October 7 infiltration into Israeli territory. At the same time, the Chief of the General Staff expressed regret for any harm to civilians.

I still think that those journalists aren’t as pure as the driven snow either but that has yet to be proven. The IDF stressed that they were striking military targets and now we know they were:

Lt. Gen. Zamir has instructed a more detailed examination of the strike, including the authorization process, ammunition used, timing, and field-level decision-making. He stressed that IDF operations are aimed exclusively at military targets.

“The enemy conducts extensive visual-intelligence gathering while exploiting sensitive civilian sites, such as hospitals, to carry out terrorist activity against our forces,” the IDF said.

The usual outrage continues:

There has been widespread condemnation of Israel after the strike, most recently from the European Union. In a statement, the European External Action Service called the strike “totally unacceptable” and stressed that “under international law, civilians and journalists must be protected.” Brussels urged Israel to uphold humanitarian law and conduct a “thorough” investigation, while noting Israel’s stated commitment to doing so. “There have been too many victims in this conflict,” the EU insisted, highlighting the urgent need to protect noncombatants amid ongoing hostilities.

I’m still waiting for these critics to point the finger at Hamas, though. And these journalists were knowingly staying in a Hamas run hospital and were killed along with known terrorists. They had to know that as well. The antisemites in Europe should know better. The more we discover about this strike the more the IDF should be seen as being more than authorized in their actions according to the aforementioned international law. I doubt they will be by the lamestream press. Pray the truth will come out and that the press that should be reporting it will actually do their jobs. Unless they are also being supported by Hamas. Yes, please pray.
